We have found a hidden gem of a venue! Hidden behind tower blocks on the banks of Stoke Newingtons east reservoir lie two versatile venues set amongst the stunning wilderness of woodberry wetlands, available for hire 7 days a week. An expansive 11 hectare nature reserve created from a freshwater reservoir previously closed to visitors for nearly 200 years. The site is now a popular visitor attraction, with reedbeds and wildflowers providing a rare haven for birds, butterflies and dragonflies. The green and peaceful setting and proximity to the City make Woodberry Wetlands an ideal location to host parties and celebrations, wedding receptions, launches, talks and meetings as well as backdrop for filming and photography.
The dramatic landscape of sweeping reedbed, woodland and waterside rests in unique contrast with the surrounding urban development and provides an atmospheric setting for filming and photography, from editorial and fashion shoots to film productions, and a perfect setting for wedding photography.
We feel very privileged that we have been choosen to cater for partys and events held at these stunning wetlands.
The Coal House a lovingly restored 19th century grade ll listed brick building features contemporary interior design, a rooftop patio, outside seating area, a garden (for a marquee if required) or a casual afternoon tea on the lawn to relax and unwind whilst watching birdlife pass overhead.

The River studio is a completely private and self contained facility which can be used during the reserve’s daily opening hours, or as an additional place for ceremonys before meandering up to the main marquee for the reception.
It comes with its own sizable garden, and a perfect location for team meetings, ceremonys and childrens birthday and wildlife activity parties.
